What tools do you need?
1 x Pattex contact glue tin
1 x Medium size Phllips screwdriver
1 x Small size slotted screwdrevier

The place for such work is a heated garage or similair. The higher the temperature, the easier it is to install the new top without wrinkles. A new installed top should not be opened for at least 14 days. After that period it has reached it's final fit. If in doubt, consult a specialist for advice.

All our tops are ready-made tops, meaning they are as far as possible prepared for assembley. Sewing or specials tools are not required. The tops always fit on the original frame and have been laser cut. The seams are additionally sealed or welded. The rear windows are made of high-quality Renolite PVC or safety glass.

Water leakage or wind noise
An incorrect fitted top can cause water leakage and also wind noise. The reasons for these may be, externally defective hood parts, incorrectly adjusted soft tops locks, incorrectly fitted rubber seals, and incorrectly adjusted top frame, incorrect top tension or incorrect adjusted side windows.

If the problem is located in the front area, it is usually due to the setting of the convertible top locking. If the problem arises in the middle range, the adjustment of the top frame is the problem. If there are problems in the rear area, it may be due to the rear windows or the hood frame adjustment. Of course, a combination of solutions is sometimes appropriate.
