- 1 x Small flathead screwdriver
- 1 x Scissors
- 1 x Sharp knife
- 1 x Rubber hammer
With two running meters of mesh, you'll have more than enough fabric to repair a windshield, and there is even room for error. We use less than one meter ourselves for the repair of a windshield.
Which wind deflectors can be repaired?
All types of deflector whose mesh is secured with a rubber gasket can be repaired. Both original and aftermarket. Original (OEM) wind deflectors are often foldable so they can be stored in the boot /trunk.
What can not be repaired?
Spare parts for original windshields are unfortunately not available. A broken hinge or frame cannot be repaired. In this case we recommend to buy a new windscreen. Please do contact us for more information!
Repairing the windshield – a short description.
Generally speaking, it is easy to repair a windscreen.
- Carefully remove the rubber gasket and remove the old mesh.
- Place the new mesh over the frame and reattach the gasket by hand.
- Cut off the excess mesh and secure the rubber gasket with the mallet.
- The set comes with an extensive manual with clear images. We have an installation video to demonstrate how easy it is to do.
